Submission guidelines
About the Show:
The 3x5 Show celebrates creativity in small form — each selected artist will create original work on a 3x5 surface provided by the gallery. We welcome artists exploring any medium, from paint to digital, as long as the final work is presented physically and ready to display.
Eligibility
Open to Portland-based artists and those in the greater Portland–Vancouver area.
Must be a working artist with a portfolio or body of work to share.
All ages 18+ are welcome.
Important Dates
Submission Form Due: November 15, 2025
Notification of Acceptance: By November 30, 2025
Pick Up 3x5 gesso board: By December 18, 2025
Completed Work Due: February 1, 2026
Artwork Guidelines
Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces.
Medium: All original mediums are accepted — painting, drawing, collage, photography, sculpture, and mixed media.
Digital Work: Accepted, but must be printed and mounted on the provided 3x5 surface.
Work must be ready to hang upon submission.
How to Participate
Pre-Register by submitting the online form (due Nov 15).
Wait for Jury Notification (by Nov 30).
Pick Up Your 3x5 Panel at the gallery by Dec 18.
Create and Deliver Your Work by Feb 1..
What happens at the end of the show? Sales and Returns?
All artwork sold for $75 (????)
Artist receives 50% of the sales
If a piece does not sell, the artwork will be returned to the artist (pick-up or prepaid shipping).
Submission form
Complete the form below by Nov 15th to apply for entry into the show. Submissions will be juried and accepted applicants will be notified by Nov 30, 11:59pm.
